Physical Ergonomics

Physical ergonomics brings together human anatomic, biomechanical, physiological and anthropometrical characteristics. Shumac understands of all these aspects, and this enable us to assess risks and formulate requirements for building comfortable and accessible work environments.

If you need to:

  • Design or improve a work station.
  • Adapt a work environment for people with specific needs.
  • Identify issues at the root of musculo-squellectic disorders and solutions to overcome them.
  • Improve the quality of the work setting because of personnel discontent.

We can:

  • Reduce the number of people suffering from work-related injuries by re-organizing work methods and the work environment.
  • Assess and design a work station accessible for users with specific needs.
  • Educate personnel on ergonomic issues that are relevant to their work habits and environment.
