    • Using specialized data banks.
  • Standards:
    • ISO 13407 Human-centred design processes for interactive systems.
    • ISO 9241 Ergonomic requirements for office work with visual display terminals (VDTs).
    • Mil Std 1472 Revision F Human Engineering.
    • CSA Z 412 Guideline on Office Ergonomics.

DELIVERY - FIT PROTOTYPE
February 2011 – Shumac delivers the last deliverables for FIT to the Canadian Space Agency. FIT is a tool to assess an operator’s fitness to perform a task (description, pdf format, 100 k approx).

MONTRÉAL SUBWAY
January 2011 – Shumac was selected as the firm responsible for human factors engineering for the new subway cars in Montréal.
